how do i get my parents to buy me a horse ?

ok so i have wanted a horse since i was young i am right now sharing a horse but he is getting to small for me and plus the owner wont let me go to shows and on the orad and thing like that but anyay i dont know how many times i have said to my parents about a horse but they also say o you cant look after a horse o you cant ride but the things is that i dont want to be out of riding for ages my mum thinks if you want a horse you have to have a horsey family but ITS MY SPORT NOT MY FAMILY ? .... i am 13 and i am going to be 14 in novemeber and i really want one any tips thanksxxx.
