hi,

i compete in endurance riding.  I am a member of endurance gb (website endurancegb.co.uk) it is £20 a ride for pleasure rides for non member (approx. 13 to 20 mile), £15 member. for PR's you have to comlete within 7km and 12km an hour time limitation. This is also stipulated for competition (CR's 20 mile to approx 50 mile)... and you can work through grades of novice, inter, advance, open up to about 80 miles iwth vet gates in between. The competative part is having your horse fit for the fast speed for completion ..and vetting - the ower your horses heart rate, the better your score. Competing costs more though, ad you must register your horse also. In total, to join and do basic rides the costs are:

membership: £35. Pleasure Ride entry: £15(per ride). Joining Fee to local Group: Approx £5-10. Register Horse: £10. Per year. ...its not cheap...but its worth it! Im competing 28 mile on sunday :D any endurance questions, gives us an email lel_d2@hotmail.com laura x
