WARMING UP THE LAMBS

Postby LKS on Mon Dec 08, 2008 2:58 pm

The Polly Products winter weight dog coats have been utilised in a baby lamb emergency recently. The cold and wet weather was having a devastating and near fatal effect on young Charollais lambs born in Tralee, Co Kerry on Gordon Nicholson’s farm.

This breed of sheep always lamb in late January making the young ones susceptible to the weather conditions and the coats also helped protect them from magpies that will habitually attack young lambs. All those fitted with their Polly padded and waterproof dog coats obtained form Darragh Equestrian who distribute for Polly Products in Ireland have weathered the outdoors and the cold and wet and are growing well.

The coats are available in five sizes for dogs and all breeds of new born lambs, at an RRP of £12.00 (Euros 14.00) for the padded winter weight coat.
