This is a rare Fautras trailer in which the horses travel herringbone/diagonally.
Excellent for all horses and particularly those that do not travel well facing forwards, we have travelled our horses many miles in this trailer after one suddenly deciding he couldnt stand upright in an Ifor Williams trailer.
This trailer is low and wide so is very stable when towing.
The first horse goes in and turns around to face backwards herringbone, the other horse then goes in forwards herringbone so they are nose to tail.
High partition so they are also unable to quarrel or touch each other.
Maximum 15hh, but bigger if they can turn around in it!
My horse is 15.1hh and does it easily.
The partition is moveable both sides to give more room at the front or the back.
American barn doors on the back and short pull out ramp.
We have found that after the first time they go in and out we did not need to pull out the ramp. Every new horse we have put in there has just jumped in and out with no problem.
Opening windows both sides and the back doors have sliding openers that can be closed, half open or fully open.
Tie rings on both sides
Roof ventilation - adjustable
The trailer is in excellent condition, it has been fully steam cleaned inside and out - aluminium floor - easy jockey wheel and good tyres and spare - everything works as it should - including the brakes, the jockey door is fully locking and has 2 keys and the towbar locks and also has 2 keys.
There are marks where previous signwriting has been on the outside. We bought it with it on, and have never worried about it, but would t-cut out easily.
Sad to see this lovely trailer go - viewing welcome and please no silly offers.
Cash on collection only.
