Right, this is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do but I need to now do what’s best for me and for Sunny. I am very upset to have to stick my gorgeous KWPN X ID grey gelding up for sale! He’s currently 12 years old and a total gentleman to work with. I have owned Sunny for a year and a half and don’t have a bad thing I could possibly say about him. He makes me smile everytime I walk on the yard, he’s a total dude.
Sunny required no intro to how amazing he is, his name is Haslemere boy and of you YouTube him you will see that in his day he was quite the horse. But this is not what I want for him, I have noticed that Sunny loves his quieter life, far from the competition days. He can be left for days, weeks, then tacked up and plodded up the road. Sunny doesn’t rear, buck or have a nasty bone in his body but can be a bit of a pansy, likes to snort at things and pretend he’s a dragon but never acts upon it.
He would suit someone who wants an impeccably schooled horse to maybe do low level dressage or local shows but to mainly be a big pet! I just don’t think a heavy workload and a flat out lifestyle is what this chap wants anymore ... but don’t get me wrong ... he does love his work!! He has three very balanced paces, uphill movement and loves to pop a wee jump!
Sunny has a mild case of fibrotic myopathy in his back leg, that is only seen in his walk striding ... any other gait it’s not visible and as far as vets are concerned in sunnys head, he’s sound ... but wouldn’t be suitable for showing. Pm me and I’ll give you all the details I have on this and clear up any issues. He’s never sick or sorry, he’s a Hardy big lad
Sunny will come with his full wardrobe, including saddle etc. And a great home is way more important than his price. Sorry for the long ad but want to be as open as honest as I can be because I want to make sure Sunbear find himself the best home possible!
Please pm me if I’ve missed anything out
