The annual Bolesworth Classic Show dates are now confirmed for 2012. The show will take place Friday 1st - Monday 4th June, at Bolesworth Castle, nr Tattenhall in Cheshire. Bolesworth will be celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in style hosting 'A Great British Show' with a number of fabulous British attractions for all the family to enjoy.
Attractions set in the magnificent setting of Bolesworth Estate include helicopter flights over the showground, vintage car displays, zip wires across the lake, dog agility classes, fine foods and a huge shopping village.
Bolesworth will be celebrating the Queen's Jubilee with a Jubilee lunch and traditional jubilee games on the Sunday afternoon followed by a Jubilee Concert on the Sunday evening working in partnership with Tattenhall Music Society.
In addition to all of this there is top level show jumping each day with the possibility of seeing members of The Great British team for the final time ahead of the London Olympics.
Last year, 18,000 spectators watched some of the world's top showjumping and event riders compete for a prize fund of nearly £60,000, with John Whitaker winning the Bolesworth Classic Grand Prix. Bolesworth also hosted a qualifying round for Express Eventing, a new short form of equestrian eventing in which all 3 events take place in one arena on one day. The overall winner of the Bolesworth qualifier was Matthew Wright who went on to win in the final at The Horse of the Year Show.
