On 26 July 2012, Hickstead Showground will play host to the Hurstpierpoint College National Schools and Pony Club Jumping Championships. A highlight in the amateur equestrian calendar, schools and Pony Club branches from all over the country head to Hickstead hoping to qualify. The Schools competition will be split into junior and senior division, whilst the Pony Club teams will take part in a series of qualifiers. These Jumping Championships give young horse riding hopefuls the chance to put their skills to the test in the same arena that they have watched many of their favourite riders battle it out.
