The TB X ID can have characteristics of both the Irish Draught horse and the Thoroughbred. The Irish Draught Horse has a short thick neck, long body and powerful hindquarters which make it an excellent jumper. The Irish Draught Horse is usually bay, grey, brown or chestnut. However, a Thoroughbred will have long sloping shoulders, a refined head, long neck, good depth or girth, fine limbs and powerful quarters. Colours vary from grey, bay, chestnut, black and brown. TB X ID can carry all these characteristics.
As a cross breed of the Irish Draught horse and the Thoroughbred, the TB X ID can excel in the same disciplines as both horses, from Racing, eventing, dressage and show jumping, hunting and general riding
This bred is an excellent choice if you want an all-rounder; they are fast happy and amazing jumpers. They are great to breed from and have beautiful foals I love everyone I have seen. Great horses :) if you want a horse that you can always have fun with then get a TB X ID. XD xxxx
