About the Quarter Horse [edit]

A Quarter horse is a general name for a number of breeds such as the American Quarter horse and the Paint horse. Quarter horses have been bred from a number of other breeds including, Arabs, Morgans, Mustang and Spanish Barb horses. They are renowned for their ability for speed and their ability to cover a quarter of a mile incredibly quickly. They originate from America.
