The Part Bred Arab is horse that has been cross bred with any Arab horse. It has similar traits to Arab horses. Arab horses are one of the oldest horse breeds in existance and originate from the Middle East, where they were trained ad war horses by Bedouin tribesmen, as they had huge stamina to cross vast desert land. Nearly every horse breed worldwide has traces of Arab blood.
Part Bred Arabs have many Arab features, such an elegant stance and a shiny coat. They tend to have perfect body proportions, large eyes, a tapered nuzzle and a well formed neck. They carry there tail high and have well defined loins and shoulders. They have great eyesight and hearing. They come in a variety of colours.
Arab horses are one of the most comfortable and elegant horses to ride and Part Bred Arabs (PBA) often share some of these characteristics. Arab horses are known for their great stamina and Part Breds can also share this. They are strong horses and can carry disproportionate weights for a number of disciplines. Part Bred Arabs can share the temperament of Pure Arabs, which is one of the calmest temperaments found in horses. Arab stallions are the only stallions permitted for use by children in shows. Centuries ago, only good tempered Arabs were allowed to reproduce, which has left modern day Arabs with this trait.
