Renault Master horse lorry, 3.5ton. Can be driven on a car license and is able to carry two horses with ease (subject to legal weight restrictions). Great for fussy/nervous travellers, with low side ramp. Just passed its MOT with no work needed. Mileage: 81,509; K registration (1992/3). It is rubber matted throughout, has two side windows and a ceiling window. There is an interior light in the back for travelling/doing things when it's dark - very useful if you're doing overnight stays. There's a jockey door for quick access from the horse area to the back. The back door is lockable from the inside (useful for getting changed). Storage area at back with 2 cupboards. 3 seats in the cabin. There is some storage space in the Luton above the cab. I've had the lorry for approx 5 years. In that time it's had a new clutch, a totally new floor, two new tyres and several services. It's a good little lorry, (we've done several long journeys in the time we've had it) but it can prefer a jump start these days depending on how often it's driven. This hasn't caused me any problems as I just keep a Halfords booster pack in the back. It has been my first lorry and has given me great driving confidence as it's not really any wider than a car. It doesn't have power steering but I have coped fine even with two big horses on board (and I'm quite little!). It's spacious inside, and I think has a higher ceiling than many other models of Master and has been a brilliant lorry for difficult loaders as the ramp is very low and it's side loading providing lots of space. You can also easily see and talk to the horses behind you when on the road. There are all the superficial signs of wear and tear you'd expect of a hard working lorry of this age, but it would not take much to tidy it up. It probably needs one new tyre before it does another long journey and also a new door handle fixing on the outer doors. Happy for viewings/test drives.
