Norfolk based charity World Horse Welfare is appealing to everyone to wear their wellies on Wednesday 8th October.
‘Wear your wellies Wednesday’ is brand new for 2008 and can take place anywhere – at your school, college or work place and all the funds raised will help the charity to continue its important equine welfare work both in the UK and the developing world.
Louise Laing, World Horse Welfare Events Officer, says: “Wear your wellies Wednesday is fun and an easy way to raise money for World Horse Welfare. All we ask is that participants get permission from their boss or teacher first and get as many people as possible to wear their wellies for a suggested minimum donation of £1.”
Or…..you can can come along to World Horse Welfare in Snetterton on the day and join in the fun. There will be a competition for the best decorated wellies and you can try your hand at ‘welly wanging’ from 12 – 2pm. For further information call 01953 497236.
