• Honest, intelligent and willing mare who always tries her best and has been extensively reschooled over the last 2 years. • Forward going, snaffle-mouthed, very responsive to leg (have never needed to carry a crop), can be stubborn (like all mares) but she is very food orientated and this helps!
• Good with farrier/vet/clip, doesn’t bite or kick, respectful in stable, is nervous loading but we have worked hard to overcome this. She can be spooked by birds in bushes etc. (and she can be sharp but honest when scared) but not bothered by tractors/machinery as has been stabled at working farm and she is safe on roads.
• Can hack alone and in company (prefers to lead) and loves to gallop (safely) in open spaces, has jumped up to 90cm and is calm/doesn’t rush. Has tried (and enjoyed) cross country – happy with both water and ditches!
• In dressage – regularly gets 8/9 for trot work, consistently achieving up to 75% at Prelim and always placed. Now working at Novice and first competition achieved 67% and 68%. She definitely has scope to go further. She has recently returned from the Trailblazers National Dressage Championships where she came 4th in her section and 10th overall in the Junior Preliminary Class.
She is not a novice ride as she can be sharp, but she is a real sweetie in all ways and deserves a fantastic new home! We are selling her because my daughter needs to concentrate on her studies.
We have plenty of videos and all her dressage test sheets if wanted.
