Birchill’s Jessica Rabbit
I have come to the heart-breaking decision to sell my beautiful bay mare Jess, due to the fact I cannot give her the time she needs or deserves whilst I study for A levels, work part time and learn to drive.
Jess is a 15.2hh; 9 year old, with bloodlines from a Welsh D dam and TB x KWPN sire, and sister to grade A showjumper Birchill’s Jemima Puddle Duck.
A very smart mare with low mileage, very good conformation and self-carriage; with the right rider Jess has the ability to go very far. I’ve had a lot of fun with her in the past 2 and half years. We have entered local dressage and jumping competitions, always coming home with rosettes. Jess jumps 1.10 with ease and works well in a nice outline. She has the potential to be a fantastic BSJA/Working Hunter/Dressage prospect, suiting a competition home. A great opportunity to work with her over winter and compete the coming season.
Jess is not a novice ride and needs an enthusiastic yet experienced rider to bring out the best in her. She would benefit from being worked every day in a one to one routine. She is snaffle mouthed however can get strong when jumping, as this is what she loves to do. She hacks alone or in company but can be spooky and so needs a confident rider. She travels brilliantly, happy to load and stand at the trailer. We have taken her on days out; XC schooling, beach rides and general schooling at other yards.
She is up to date with immunisations, boosters, shoeing, dentistry and worming. She is sold with her rugs and bridle (saddle can be purchased separately).
Please no time wasters/Joy riders/Novice rides – serious enquiries only. Price reflects the fact she isn’t in full work at the moment and we are in need of a quick sale before winter due to other commitments.
