Very reluctantly back up for sale. My stunning chestnut Lusitano cross rescue. He is around 15.2 (not measured) and 5 years old. He had an extremely bad start in life and it has taken me 18 months to get him to where he is now.
He is a dream to handle on the ground, will follow you happily, picks his feet up to be picked out, loves being groomed and will tolerate being bathed. Great for the farrier, vet and dentist (but was sedated first time).
He Is currently being lunged under tack and is well behaved, proving to have lovely paces when he gets going, moves to voice command (and stops) and will be a nice dressage prospect for an experienced rider.
He has not yet been backed but he is ready for the next step now.
He is still a baby and has his moments, so absolutely must go to someone experienced and preferably someone who has backed young horses previously.
A 10* home is required for this young man as he is a very special horse.
The reason I am selling him is because I need a quieter plod as I'm no spring chicken and have health issues and he is quite sharp and can be spooky at times.
If I could keep him I would, but I don't have enough time for two horses and he needs a job to do.
Only serious enquiries please and absolutely no dealers, this boy cannot be passed around and I would like to keep in touch with his new owners.
No loans, LWVTB or trials, right home is more important than price
