Ray, is a cheeky little chap who is seeking a home in which he can further his education. I've owned Ray since 6 months old, going from a rescue pony to a sweet boy who can follow you round the field to help you poo pick! Ray came to us a very shy and nervous pony. It took some patience to get him to where he is, where nobody could get near him.
Over the years that I've owned Ray, I had hoped that I could have broken him in by now, however that is not the case. I just simply do not have enough time that this boy needs.
Ray has had a saddle and bridle on and is absolutely fine, but has had limited schooling/training.
He can still be nervous around new people, once he gets to know you he will not be able to stay away! He does however seem to be funny with men. We are a private yard so unfortunately we don't get many people coming and going enough for him to get used to people.
He is alright with the farrier, He has had the same one for nearly 6 years and is unsure on first arrival every time. Once he has been reassured he just stands there. Again not something that he sees everyday to get used to.
Lives out happily in the summer and comes in at night in the winter. Also lives with both mares and geldings.
He doesn't require much food and hay throughout the winter, as he keeps his weight on well!
Will come with all rugs and bridle.
I imagine he will make a fantastic 2nd pony in the right hands, he has 3 beautiful flowing paces and happily pops over jumps!
Really do want this boy to go to a home where he can have the time spent with him that he deserves.
