Blue would suit a competition home where he will be in regular work which he really enjoys. He needs a confident rider to get the best out of him but has also been ridden by my niece who is a novice however he can sometimes take advantage, typical cheeky pony, nothing nasty and does not buck or rear.
He has competed show jumping at 60-80cm with ease and often comes home with a ribbon. He has also previously hunted in Ireland. He works in a nice outline and would do a lovely dressage test so I feel he would make a great all-rounder or pony club pony.
Blue is great to hack and will go alone or in company, first or last and is not worried by any traffic or farm machinery. He can be a little bit lively in a group but really just jogging and snorting which is also why he would not suit a novice or nervous rider. He was previously ridden and competed regularly with a 12 year old girl.
He is good with the farrier, teeth and vet and good to load. He has no vices and is very well behaved and quiet in his stable.
I bought Blue as a happy hacker and to do some low level jumping and cross country with my daughter and her youngster who she was due to back this summer. Sadly due to a change in circumstances this will not now be happening and I feel that Blue needs a more challenging and competitive home. More photos and video’s available on request. Price £2,400 with saddle o.n.o. Blue deserves to go to a 5* competition home where he will have lots of fun. Contact: Sharon 07718 260606 [email protected]
