ALFIE is an adorable & funny, tame, approx. 10.2hh, ginger & white, genuine Dartmoor Hill Pony yearling with lovely movements & kind eyes looking for a good home.

In due course likely to make a stunning children's lead rein & first ridden show pony, therapy pony or companion.

Fine & friendly and loves splashing in water, playing in the paddock with his friends & giving kisses.

From the hills originally & seems fit & healthy.

Microchipped & Passported.

Had 1st & 2nd Flue & Tetanus Vaccinations.

Been good for vet & jabs.

Been through usual isolation/observation period and NOT seen signs of sickness, lameness, laminitis, sweet itch, lumps or bumps.

Just a lovely genuine hill pony and they are know to make great kids' ponies and show winners.

Had course of wormers.

His feet have been trimmed & checked every six weeks whilst here.

Been good for the farrier.

Is a colt ('boy') so will need gelded at some point.

Training ongoing and will need more input but curious.

Comes over to us in the field.

In the barn comes over to put his head in the halter to go out.

Can be tied up, brushed, washed & rugged.

Can have all four feet picked.

Good to load & travel.

More work needed but a real charmer with show potential.

Likes kids but small children should always be supervised around animals, especially young horses, in case either gets too playful.

In time should make a lovely kids pony.

Re-homing fee is £900 as seen to suitable kind home, individual, family, small pony business or pony project.

Once paid for in full and we have made sure the money has cleared into our account or our vets account, the pony passport signed receipt is fully yours although you are, of course, welcome to stay in touch - but only if you want to.

We love our rescues, put a lot into them out our own pockets & do not take wages etc so updates usually make our day.

Most our horses & ponies have done really well show, pony club & competition wise and or have brought blessings & fun to many individuals and families - many of whom are affected by autism etc.

Very cheap, cost price transport can usually be arranged same or next day to anywhere in the UK, but must be paid for up front before we set off - for obvious reasons.

Transport only 50p/mile tolls & any ferry costs (if applicable).

No charge for our time as we do it for the love of it.

Can't re-home unseen - pony must be checked out here or on arrival.

No tyre kicking or hackling the fee is fixed.

Just believe in discussing the pony & it's suitability openly & honestly.

Full fee must be paid & cleared & receipt given before pony is left.

Sorry not set up for payment plans, LWTVTB or take now pay later etc.

Person must be 18 , kind, sensible with suitable place for a pony.

Please, tell us where you would keep him & if there's a space ready.

We cannot hold or do livery there's likely to be a good bit of interest.
